Memorial Book Program
The Memorial Book Program may be used by persons wishing to designate a book in the Kaukauna Public Library collection "in memory of" or "in honor of" a loved one, a family member, an associate or an organization.
With a minimum donation of $20.00 a memorial bookplate noting the name of the person memorialized (and the donor) will be inserted in the front cover of one book in the library collection. Donors may choose a specific subject and the department in which they wish to have this memorial. If a donor does not specify a subject the Library Director or Youth Services Librarian will select a book.
All donors will receive an acknowledgement of their gift which will also note the tile of the book and a copy of the bookplate. If a donor provides a contact person the library will notify the contact person of the donation, the title of the book and a copy of the bookplate.
All books containing a Memorial Book Program bookplate are recorded and if any of these books are lost, stolen, or withdrawn, a the bookplate will be inserted in another book and recorded. In this way the Kaukauna Public Library can assure donors of a perpetual memorial.
To purchase a Memorial Book make a $20.00 check payable to the "Kaukauna Library Memorial Book Program " accompanied by a note designating the name of the party to be memorialized or honored and the name of the donor. Please specify the subject area and if the book should be an adult or children's book. Please include the name and address of the person to be notified of the donation. Send this check to:
