Frequently Asked Questions

Remember, everybody can participate using the paper tracker or on the Beanstack website/app.  You can read and complete challenges any time from June 8 to August 14.  Lots of kids are worried that they might miss something if they go on vacation for a couple of weeks, or because they are busy with summer school, sports, other activities, or jobs - don’t worry- we will have all the prizes until August 20, so that gives you plenty of time to finish the program.  You can complete activities in any order and collect your prizes anytime too. The prize drawing will take place on August 21 and winners will be notified on Monday, August 24.

What if you can’t get to the library?

The great thing about Beanstack and the online program is that it keeps track of all of your prizes for you! You can enter the grand prize drawings right through Beanstack.  When you are ready, visit the library to collect your prizes – you can come in every week or two, or all at once-- you don’t have to come on certain dates or each week, you can come to the library to collect prizes when you can get to us.  Just be sure to pick up your prizes by August 20.

What about programs and events?

We have lots of fun events happening virtually this summer, until we can safely meet in bigger groups.  We share lots of our programs on Facebook, like weekly family storytimes, science experiments you can try at home, Chapter Chats where we read from our favorite books over lunchtime, an Elephant & Piggy Puppet Show, and more! Adult programs include Experiencing Art classes, Introduction to Crochet, Local History Talks, and health and wellness programs.  To see what's happening at the library, visit our online calendar, follow us on Facebook, or view/print the June Event Guide.

Follow the Kaukauna Public Library on Facebook for updates and to see when a program is live.  You can also find our videos on YouTube.  We keep adding new programs, so it’s best to check out website and Facebook often for updates and details.
